Just 10 miles from Birmingham, Lickey Hills Country Park is a wonderful place for families to explore and enjoy the outdoors together. With 524 acres of woodland, open grassland and gentle hills, there’s plenty of space for little legs to roam and grown-ups to unwind.
Easy walking paths, wildlife to spot and stunning views from Beacon Hill make every visit an adventure. The park has been loved by families for generations and has a long history stretching back to Victorian times.
Rich in nature and full of stories, the Lickey Hills were once royal hunting grounds and even inspired J.R.R. Tolkien’s Shire. It’s the perfect place for fresh air, family fun — and a well-earned stop at the café afterwards.
