Just 10 miles from Birmingham, Lickey Hills Country Park is a wonderful place for families to explore and enjoy the outdoors together. With 524 acres of woodland, open grassland and gentle hills, there’s plenty of space for little legs to roam and grown-ups to unwind.

Easy walking paths, wildlife to spot and stunning views from Beacon Hill make every visit an adventure. The park has been loved by families for generations and has a long history stretching back to Victorian times.

Rich in nature and full of stories, the Lickey Hills were once royal hunting grounds and even inspired J.R.R. Tolkien’s Shire. It’s the perfect place for fresh air, family fun — and a well-earned stop at the café afterwards.

Grounds Café is coming to Broadland Country Park soon!

Broadland Country Park is beautiful 140 acre mosaic of heath, woodland and marshy grassland. Nestled between Horsford and Felthorpe, the park is perfect for walkers, horse riders and cyclists to explore and enjoy free of charge.

The main park entrance and car parks are located just off the Haveringland Road (NR10 4DF).There are also many cycling and walking routes nearby that link into Broadland Country Park from nearby villages Horsford and Felthorpe.
